Hi Jen, I had your permission to recreate one of your drawings in fabric last summer for a challenge, ( which it won.) I'm pleased to let you know, it has been accepted for exhibition at Quilt B.C. National Juried Show in Kamloops. May2 to 5 (Forster's Convention Centre.) I made sure your name is in my statement and your web address is permanently on the label at the back of the piece. I'm thrilled it's been accepted, workmanship is definitely a big part of this show and again the image is so powerful. I've been showing some of my quilting friends your site and they've been really impressed with your artwork. (can't imagine how you figure out all those lines.)

Tree of Life by Jen Delyth ©1990
Painted on Maple wood - by Mike Panian |
Jen, As promised here is my depiction of your tree of life. The wood that I usedfor the shield was a very pale maple. I used acrylic paint and if you lookclosely you will see that I stained the space in between the branch a golden
color to signify the autumn of my mothers life and the roots brown to signify renewal.
It was a pleasre to make for her and I really appreciate your fine ability to create something as beautiful as this and your willingness to let me use
it. I placed your name on the back as promised.
